Radio stations have provided a forum across the United States as the country debates the politics of the Confederate flag. Often with differing views being expressed on stations which tend to attract audiences from differing ethnic backgrounds. We spoke to Steve Crumbley Programme Director at Charleston radio stations WXST and 99.3 The Box, which has a large black audience, but first Stu Morris from 94.3 WSC also in Charleston which has many white listeners.
