In an impoverished part of south western Uganda, based around a village called Ruhiira, a community radio station has been part of the drive to improve peoples lives. Presenters at the Millennium Voice say they have an important role in bringing about social and economic change. Mike Wooldridge went to talk to some of the presenters at the Millennium Voice to find out what difference they think the scheme has made.
