Think you can’t surf on a motorcycle? Think again. Australian stunt rider Robbie Maddison achieved the feat on a Tahitian wave, and was “fully terrified” the whole time. Maddison said “pretty drastic changes” had to be made to the motorcross bike, to enable it for surfing and prevent the release of fuel into the water. Despite the success of the stunt – the video of which has had over 15 million views in one week – Maddison said it “came with lots of challenges”. “It was terrifying knowing I had all this baggy clothing weighing me down… I can’t even imagine what could’ve gone wrong,” he said.
