Former Ghanaian midfielder Abedi 'Pele' Ayew - a man widely recognised as one of the greats of African football - never played in the English Premier League. However, on the opening weekend of the 2015/16 season, he got to watch two of his sons make their debuts. 25-year-old Andre made his debut for Swansea City, whilst 23-year-old Jordan played his first game for Aston Villa.
