Young people who identify as 'goths' may be at an increased risk of depression and self harm, according to research published in the The Lancet Psychiatry journal. The research finds that teenagers who identify themselves as goths at the age of 15, are three times more likely to be clinically depressed, and five times more likely to self-harm at the age of 18.
