Smithsonian to restore original USS Enterprise

The Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC is calling on fans of Star Trek. It is in the process of restoring the original model of the USS Enterprise, the famous starship used in the original series. Trekkies are being called upon to help resurrect the 11 foot long model, which has been heavily modified. Newsday spoke to curator Dr Margaret Weitekamp.
