Ghanaian singer Rocky Dawuni’s album Branches of the Same Tree was last week No 10 on the Billboard Reggae chart. His music, according to Ziggy Marley, “is a creative inspiration that has no boundaries.” It reflects his wide interests, from afrobeat and reggae to funk and samba. His distinctive sound is making waves internationally but it has not been quite the same in Ghana. Dawuni, who is based in the US and is also a humanitarian activist, told �鶹�� Africa's Akwasi Sarpong why he thinks this is happening.
