Meetings are held between Leicestershire's councils and health authorities to discuss the city and county's response to the Syrian refugee crisis. Council leaders have already confirmed they will rehome their share of the migrants here, if the government will provide funding. Meanwhile, the Leicester charity City of Sanctuary says it's had three hundred people volunteering within a week.
