The boy who spent his holiday in a refugee camp

Newsday

Available for over a year

John and Jack are a father and son from England who decided to spend two weeks of their summer holiday helping out at a refugee camp in Jordan. The Malki Salaam Centre in Jordan helps about 70 children who have been traumatised by the war in Syria..., and John Sinik and his son Jack came in to our studios to talk to Newsday's David Whitty about their experiences there. And John let Jack do the talking. (Photo: Jack Sinik, left, and John Sinik, right. Credit: Â鶹Éç)
