Stephen Ferris: 'I never thought I would retire at 29'

Sportsworld

Available for over a year

Former Ireland and British Lions flanker Stephen Ferris says writing his autobiography helped him come to terms with his retirement after he was forced to put a stop to his playing days in 2014; aged just 29. Ferris - who won 35 caps for Ireland - discusses how he dealt with his retirement and his friendship with golfer Rory McIlroy. However, the 30-year-old began by telling Sportsworld's Sarah Mulkerrins how he's still keeping in-touch with the current team ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
