Indo-Anglian novelist, lawyer, journalist, and politician, Khushwant Singh describes a 1945 麻豆社 broadcast that sticks in his mind: on a railway car, having slipped off it's rails between Barog and Shimla, the driver turned on the 麻豆社. "News came on about the elections in England and we heard for the first time, that the Labour party had won and Mr Churchill and the Conservative were out of power."
