It's difficult to know how any of us would cope if we had to turn our lives around following extreme violence. For one woman in Leicester - who was the victim of a terrible attack in a city pub five years ago - the experience has led to drastic changes in her life. Toni Banks was born male. Her name was Russell and was subject to a terrible assault at the Rainbow and Dove pub on Charles Street in the City. She was set on fire and it began a chain of events which resulted in changing her gender to become a woman. She's now helping to launch a support service for victims of crime in Leicestershire.
