Radio astronomer Bob Wilson discovered evidence that supports the theory that the universe was born in an enormous explosion - or Big Bang. In 1978 Wilson and his colleague Arno Penzias won the Nobel Prize for Physics for their discovery. "Why should you be interested in the Big Bang Theory? It's an explanation of how we got to be here.
