A gunman in the United States has shot dead nine people at a community college in the state of Oregon. Seven others are being treated for injuries. President Barack Obama immediately called for a renewed focus on America's gun laws and said action had to be taken. But Kevin Starrett of the Oregon Firearms Association told Newsday that cracking down on gun ownership is not the answer.
