In Columbus, Ohio in September 2013, the United States were hoping to secure qualification for the World Cup in Brazil. But there was some controversy before the game against their bitter rivals Mexico. To the annoyance of Mexican fans in North America, the US Soccer federation didn't want to play the match in a city where the away supporters could dominate the crowd. So, Ohio was chosen, far from the large expat communities and in a stadium which only holds 24 thousand people. And let's not forget the fact that the USA has a history of beating Mexico 2-nil in Colombus. Mani Djazmi went along for World Football. (Picture credit: Getty images)
