Newsday

Available for over a year

A Lazio fan -fed up with racism in his country- has set up a football team with a group of young refugees and migrants tired of doing nothing. Their action led to the creation of Liberi Nantes in Rome. The team plays in the Italian amateur league. 18-year-old Gambian Mohamed Singateh has been telling Newsday how he joined the club (Photo: Liberi Nantes known as the first Italian football team made up of refugees.
