Some of the leading figures in world football are under a dark cloud. FIFA president Sepp Blatter, the Secretary General Jerome Valcke and the boss of European football, Michel Platini have all been suspended for 90 days. Michael Hershman, who was on the Independent Governance Committee of Fifa, which made a number of suggestions to reform world football's governing body earlier this year, believes that the organisation that governs world football "is really on a precipice”.
