As the cold weather sets in thousands of Migrants continues to cross Europe as the crisis continues. Over the weekend tension has built as thousands of migrants heading north through the Balkan states have been stalled by new controls on the border between Croatia and Serbia. One official told the Â鶹Éç that Croatia could run out of room in its transit camps within days. Closer to home the camp in Calais known as "the jungle" is still full of migrants hoping to cross to the UK, many relying on donations to survive. Earlier this morning we heard how our newsreader Nisha Chopra joined volunteers from Leicester got on the ferry from Dover to Calais to deliver donated shoes for migrants. It followed an appeal here on Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester for shoes by Margaret Willis from Fenny Drayton, as she planned her third trip to Calais to help the migrants.
