Croatian Foreign Minister on migrants, fences and solutions to the crisis

Newshour

Available for over a year

Thousands of migrants are continuing to mass at border crossings in the Balkans as governments blame each other for worsening delays. Aid workers have warned of dire conditions as migrants bound for western and northern Europe brave wet and muddy camps and open ground. The Slovenian authorities accuse Croatia of ignoring their pleas to stem the flow of migrants; they say they can only cope with a limited number of new arrivals. Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic responds to these accusations, discusses possibility of building a fence and the importance of Turkey and Greece in the migrant crisis.
