Kandeh Yumkella is a man focussed on power - electrical and political. Earlier this year, Dr Yumkella announced his intention to be a candidate for the People's Party in Sierra Leone's next presidential election in 2018. But the big political battles are still to come. Today, the former chairman of the UN Advisory Group on Energy and Climate is in London for the launch of Energy Africa, a UK initiative to provide accessible energy across the continent. It is an issue which, as he told the Â鶹Éç's Fred Dove, African governments should give much higher priority. (Photo: Â鶹Éç)
