It's the time of year when hedgerows are full of things to pick. There still some blackberries to be had, the odd apple or two and of course any amount of sloes. Now, Sloes might look appetising, but in fact they are pretty much inedible unless you turn them into something that will turn even the darkest day of winter into something a little warmer. I'm talking about Sloe Gin. And Ben went out to meet a man who's surrounded by the stuff.
