If you found a stray dog, would you know what to do with it? If you're a dog owner, can you animal be identified? Well it's highly likely that if your dog disappears it'll end up at College Garth Kennels at Hathern near Loughborough. It takes in around three and a half thousand dogs each year from across Leicestershire - with a four percent rise in the number of strays handed in last year. It costs thousands of pounds to assess and care for the dogs, and apart from a small payment made by councils, the work is funded entirely by charity.
