Were you ever sung lullabies as a child? Well a special session at Leicester's Highfields Library recently focussed on traditional Somali songs and ballads. Maryan Anshur has spent more than 30 years working with families and children in Leicester to encourage reading, and has now published Somali Lullabies as a dual-language (Somali/English) book.
