The question science has never answered: What is rest?

All in the Mind

Available for over a year

What exactly is rest and what's the best way to get it? Science surprisngly doesn't have an answer. But researchers need your help to find out. Which activities do you find most restful? What's important, resting your mind or body or both? How much does your mind wander and do you think you get enough? To find the answers to these questions and many others a group of scientists and other academics at Hubbub at the Wellcome Collection have launched the rest test, an online study into our resting habits. To take part in the world’s largest ever investigation into the topic of rest, go to: www.resttest.org where you can also find out how your resting habits compare to others. Picture: A sloth.
