'I was the only person of colour there'

Newsday's Nkem Ifejika is in Poland and attended the Independence Day march in Warsaw. As far as he could tell he was the only person of colour in a crowd of thousands. He was jostled and one man shouted "Sieg Heil" at him. Others refused to talk to him because of his colour. This is what Nkem made of the events.
