Leicester's Tribute to Paris

Jim Davis and Jo Hayward

Available for over a year

On Monday, France entered a third day of mourning, as details continue to emerge about some of the 129 people killed in the Paris attacks on Friday. The gun and bomb attacks - which killed 129 and left more than 350 wounded - have been claimed by so-called Islamic State militants. One of the seven attackers - who hit a concert hall, a major stadium, restaurants and bars - has been identified, as the French police investigation picks up pace. The French airforce has also been in action on Sunday night in Syria, where we're told that French jets have bombarded IS targets in the city of Raqqa, a stronghold of the group. Here in Leicester, over a hundred people are gathering at the Clock Tower yesterday evening, to hold a vigil in memory of the victims of the attacks. Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester was there to hear the thoughts of those attending.
