In the light of the Paris attacks, should governments be allowed greater powers to conduct mass surveillance? It's a debate that has raged ever since the whistle-blower Edward Snowden leaked classified information about global surveillance programmes being carried out by the US government in 2013. Dan Damon spoke to Douglas Murray from the Henry Jackson Society, a British think-tank which published a report claiming Snowden's leaks had caused serious damage to Britain's intelligence agencies and to Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who led the reporting of Snowden's leaks.
