Hough Mill

Ben Jackson

Available for over a year

The village of Swannington in North West Leicestershire is a quiet village nestling in open countryside surrounded by fields and woodland, but it hasn't always been like that. It was once one of the centres of the industrial revolution, in fact people have been mining coal there since the middle ages. Over the last few years Ben has visited Hough Mill and the long lost Califat colliery on the outskirts of the village a few times and he popped back there to catch up with what's been going on.
