Renard targets job in England after Lille sacking

World Football

Available for over a year

Two-time African Cup of Nations winner Hervé Renard wants to coach in England after being sacked by Lille after just six months. The Frenchman says he wasn't given long enough at the Ligue 1 club and wants to "prove that some people made the wrong decision". "If I have a dream it;s to go somewhere in England," said Renard, who coached Ivory Coast to Africa Cup of Nations success earlier this year after guiding Zambia to victory in the same competition in 2012.
