Reports have been surfacing about hundreds of Colombian former soldiers being hired by the United Arab Emirates government to fight in Yemen. Colombia has experienced a six decade-long civil conflict, and its battle-hardened former servicemen have been hired in the past by private security companies for deployment in Afghanistan, Iraq and other hotspots. The Âé¶¹Éç's Luis Fajardo spoke to Yineth Bedoya, the subeditor of Colombia's largest newspaper, El Tiempo.
