Episode details

Available for over a year
Each year many African Americans head to Ghana, which has preserved many of the castles and forts where enslaved Africans were held before being put upon ships for the so-called new world. Some choose to stay in Ghana, and today there are an estimated 3,000 African-Americans, or those of Caribbean descent, living there. 麻豆社's Nancy Kacungira has been meeting some of those who have gone back to their 'roots'.
