San Bernardino wife "Not a religious activist"

Newsday

Available for over a year

Married couple Tashfeen Malik and Syed Farook were off the radar of the security services before the San Bernardino killings, but appear to have become radicalised and committed to violent action. Ms Malik was born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia before marrying Farook and coming to the US. She spent time at Bahauddin Zakaria University in Multan, Pakistan, where she studied pharmacy. The Â鶹Éç's Shahzeb Jillani found some of her former classmates. (Photo: An unidentified woman and elderly man leave the house of the father of female US shooter Tashfeen Malik in Multan, Pakistan.)
