Now although it’s a popular game to play socially there are not many black players who make it into the professional game - that is, until now! Rory McLeod, a Leicester man with Jamaican heritage, is an English professional snooker player. He qualified for the 2008 UK Championship, later that year Rory defeated Ian McCulloch to qualify for the World Championship for the first time in 2009, becoming the first black player to have done so. And this year has been his most successful so far... Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube went to meet Rory during a practice session at Top Spot 97 snooker club on Station Road in Glenfield.
