Newsday

Available for over a year

The President of the island nation of Kiribati warns his people will lose their home because of climate change. Kiribati is a nation living on a group of low-lying atolls, which barely peek out above the surface of the Pacific Ocean. This makes them really vulnerable to rising sea levels caused by increasing temperatures worldwide. Timothy McDonald visited Kiribati and spoke to President Anote Tong about Kiribati's future.
