A Glenridding villager has praised the wave of support from fellow volunteers after flooding was caused by a river bursting its banks. Emergency services, the Army and volunteers have been working to rescue people from the water. Jonathan Holdsworth was one of those helping with efforts and he told Phil Williams the community was incredible: "Everybody has just got on with it and it's been some real stoicism, some real Dunkirk spirit here. I've certainly never witnessed anything quite like it in my life and I've been here for several floods." It's just days since storm Desmond hit but forecasters say the weather should calm down over the next few days. This clip is originally from the Phil Williams show on Wednesday 9th December 2015.
