It can always be quite a difficult decision to make when you walk past someone begging on the street, can't it? Do you hand over what change you have in your pockets? Or do you simply walk on? Well despite the dilemma, especially this time of year, the authorities are quite clear on the matter... "Do not give to beggars, give to charity" Leicestershire Police has even produced a short film with the help of De Monfort University students which demonstrates the most common types of street begging reported to the police. And Inspector Simon Preston, Central Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Commander, joined Jonathan and Monica in the studio.
