In 2011, the streets of Homs, Syria's third largest city, were thronged with crowds chanting for revolution and regime change. Four years later and whole districts have been laid to waste, most of the inhabitants have fled. But last week, the last of the opposition fighters left the city in a deal that saw the government retake complete control of the city. The Â鶹Éç's Chief International Correspondent Lyse Doucet managed to get to Homs to witness the pull-out of opposition fighters. Here's a part of her report from the city. (Photo: A resident of Homs.
