Reem is a Syrian refugee living the United States. Since her arrival she has learned to speak English and is now working as a childcare worker helping other refugees. She has been given refugee status and can legally stay in the country. But she says that her heart breaks every day because she watches her country being torn apart. She is calling on people in the US to acknowledge that everyone is different and not all Muslims are terrorists.
