One of the more unlikely and uplifting side-effects of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda is the growth of cricket in the country. Many who fled the genocide ended up in refugee camps in countries like Uganda and Kenya, where they discovered cricket. With interest growing, a British charity has been raising funds to build Rwanda's first international standard cricket ground. (Voices from Rwanda recorded by Didier Bikorimana.)
