Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan has an idea to bring the sport to the masses. He cites the success of rugby league and union when they have staged events at the national stadium. Vaughan, 41, said: "Cricket celebrates when we get 25,000 into a game, let's aim higher. You can still play Test cricket and 50-over matches at the traditional venues but we just need to do something. Let's try and aim a bit bigger and go for a big venue." After spending time in the USA, Vaughan allays fears that other stadiums may not be suitable, adding: "You do not need the perfect venue, you can drop pitches in and create a stage. That's what cricket requires - Wembley, the Olympic Stadium, whatever. Let's just take cricket to a different audience." This clip was taken from 5 live sport on 4 January 2015.
