Plans for six new floodlights at the home of Leicestershire County Cricket Club could get the go-ahead this evening. The City Council's Planning and Development Control Committee will consider the club's application for the lights at Grace Road, which will be mounted on columns 40 metres high. Wasim Khan is Chief Executive at the club. He's told Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester that most people living in the area are in favour of the floodlights. But not everyone has welcomed the prospect of floodlights at the ground. So far, there have been ten formal objections to the plans. Our reporter Christian Hill has been speaking to some of those people living closest to the ground.
