Cancer is a disease often associated with older people, but every year thousands of teenagers and young adults are also given the heartbreaking news. Now, a special support service is being set up in Leicestershire to give emotional and practical advice to those aged between 18 and 30 who are feeling lonely and isolated. It's a collaboration between the Macmillan charity, as well as De Montfort University, and the East Midlands Teenage and Young Adult Integrated Cancer Service. Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester's Bridget Blair has been talking to Laura Cutler. She's a Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist for survivors of teenage and young adult cancer. She set up this 1 to 1 project.
