Bowie's ex-girlfriend: 'His music lives on'

Singer David Bowie has died at the age of 69 from cancer. His son, film director Duncan Jones, confirmed the news and a statement was issued on his social media accounts. David Bowie's former girlfriend, Dana Gillespie, who sang on some of his tracks including 'It Ain't Easy' from the album Ziggy Stadust and the Spiders from Mars paid tribute to the artist. Dana said Bowie "was always about the music and chasing a new musical dream". Bowie's hits include Let's Dance, Space Oddity, Starman, Modern Love, Heroes, Under Pressure, Rebel, Rebel and Life on Mars.
