David Bowie's photographer, Mick Rock, said he was "hypnotised" by Bowie's image. Rock photographed Bowie through his Ziggy Stardust era, and shot and directed the videos for John, I'm Only Dancing, Jean Genie, Space Oddity and Life on Mars.
