Anglican rift over homosexuality

Newsday

Available for over a year

Anglican Church leaders are describing this week as make or break for their global movement, the Communion, which consists of 85 million Christians worldwide. Today they meet to try to reconcile divisions over homosexuality. We brought together two Anglicans from either side of the debate. Reverend Canon Dr Gavin Ashenden supports the conservative Christian tradition whereas Jayne Ozanne is a member of the Church's General Synod, a leading Evangelical and openly gay Christian.
