Newsday

Available for over a year

More than three quarters of emerging infectious diseases such as Ebola come from animals. The transmission from animals to humans is known as a "zoonotic event". The Â鶹Éç Africa's Health Correspondent Anne Soy spoke to Subhash Morzaria, one the researchers involved in a global effort to know more about the "zoonotic diseases" that affect people. She began by asking him about the importance of focusing on animal health.
