How dogs recognise emotions

Newsday

Available for over a year

According to new research from the University of Lincoln dogs know how we feel. Dr Anna Wilkinson says that their experiment shows the pets known as man's best friends recognise emotions in both humans and other dogs. This would be the first study to demonstrate that any animal can tell how members of another species are feeling.
