New report seeks to tell the male migrant tale

Newsday

Available for over a year

There's been plenty of negative headlines about single migrant males recently including the allegations of sexual harassment carried out by gangs of young single men of migrant background in Germany and Sweden. But for many in Lebanon's camps the situation of single Syrian men who've fled is even harder than it is for families. The International Rescue Committee - a humanitarian organisation - spoke to around 500 unmarried or separated Syrian refugees across Lebanon, including this man who wanted to remain anonymous. He's 27 years old. (Pic Lebanese camp for migrants from Syria, Credit AP)
