Newsday

Available for over a year

Dominic Ongwen is a former commander with the Ugandan rebel group known as the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). He is due to appear later today before the International Criminal Court in the Hague. The ICC will decide whether there's enough evidence to go ahead with a full war crimes trial. The Â鶹Éç's Catherine Byaruhanga travelled to the region where the former warlord is accused of committing atrocities : ( Caption: This file photo shows Dominic Ongwen waiting for the start of court procedures in his first appearance at the International Criminal Court in The Hague in January 2015.
