UK public to decide memorial for terror victims

World Update

Available for over a year

A new national memorial will be built to remember British citizens who've lost their lives in acts of terrorism overseas. In order to do this the UK Government wants suggestions on where such a memorial should be, and what it should look like. Today it begins its consultation and wants to hear from families and friends of victims, people who support victims or members of the public who've been affected. So how does an artist deal with a brief that diverse? Artist and Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in London, Michael Petry's most recent work remembers the victims of WWI.
